Zimmer Memorial Home
Zimmer Memorial Home was a school and home for African American orphans in Mobile, Alabama. It was overseen by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth and was a segregated institution. In this photo, children from the orphanage swim in a pond located on the home's grounds.
